A Cocktail Bars Tale
Chandlers Bar is still thriving, being one of the favourite cocktail bars in Chesterfield.
TRAINED BAR STAFF
Chandlers Bar is the longest-running cocktail bar in Chesterfield, opened in 1999.
Our bar staff are trained extensively in classic cocktails and twists on them, which means if it’s not on the menu, that’s fine—we’ll make it for you anyway. We love to explore with new flavours, and who knows, it might go onto our extensive menu!
GREAT VIBES
In 2024, Chandler’s Bar was bought by two long-standing staff members, Louise and Rebekah. Having both worked in the bar for over ten years, Louise and Rebekah hold the same values the bar has always strived for—great drinks, great service, great vibes—and are very proud to be part of the independent Chesterfield business scene.
EXTENSIVE RANGE
As well as an extensive spirit range we serve quality, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options. Our whole cocktail menu is available as alcohol-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free.
If you aren’t sure what you fancy just tell us what sort of thing you like and we’ll whip up something bespoke just for you.
LONG HISTORY
Chandlers was a hotel from 1870; however, it was demolished and rebuilt in 1926. In 1999, Roger and Sally Ann bought the building, and Chandlers Bar opened as an independent, local business. We are also excited to soon unveil three luxury guest rooms. We are continuing to work towards restoring the building back to its former glory.
